Thanks, I'm looking forward to it. Last promotion board had a small selection rate. Hopefully there will be a higher selection rate.

This will be my fourth look. With how low the promotion rates have been, I'm not holding my breath.

Just finished a bachelor's degree and graduated with honors and a 3.87GPA, excellent ncoers, etc. We will see if look number 2 is the ticket. Regardless of the results for myself, I wish all under consideration the best!

Believe this will be look 7, 8 maybe? Not a good promotion rate in my MOS. 0 last year, 3 year before, 1 year before that. Usually 1-3 max. This is the last time I am trying before retiring. 20 right now and don't plan on doing more than 23.

Oh, wow. At least you made your E7 early. I was in the same situation but for my E7. I'm looking at doing 22 maybe more depending on my next assignment. Good luck! You're definitely due

Official Release of the Fiscal Year 2016 Master Sergeant (MSG) Promotion Selection List is May 10th.
MILPER Message Number 15-340
2. The official release of the FY16 Regular Army (RA) and United States Army Reserve (USAR) Active Guard Reserve (AGR) MSG Promotion Selection List will be pre-positioned to authorized agents in eTOPMIS on 6 May 16. This information will be treated as close hold until the official release date.
3. The official results of the FY16 Regular Army (RA) and United States Army Reserve (USAR) Active Guard Reserve (AGR) MSG Promotion Selection List will be posted to the Human Resources Command (HRC) website for commanders, Soldiers and human resource users to download on 10 May 16.
4. Authorized release time is established at 0730 (EST) hours.
5. Procedures: To access the HRC enlisted promotion website go to: https://www.hrc.army.mil/tagd/enlisted%20promotions.
6. POC for this list or its release is, HRC, Promotions Branch, Senior Enlisted Promotions Section at DSN 893-9014, Comm [login to see] or email: [login to see] .

My board file isn't loaded. There's a "Board File" but there are no records in it. Does anyone have this issue?

I haven't had any issues with my board file. I'm awaiting it for my PCS award to hit the system before I validate. I have one more day before that happens. BTW yes my SSD4 is update in the system. Hope everything is good with your board files and good luck!

I had yhe same issue and found out that due to my BASD I'm ineligible for the board. I'm waiting to see what is gonna happen with us that came in before Sept 94.

SFC (Join to see) - That doesn't make any sense. But the MILPER message does state "BASIC ACTIVE SERVICE DATE (BASD) BETWEEN 2 SEP 94 AND 2 MAR 08" and you still have 4 more years before RCP. Have you spoken with your 1SG or CSM? If not I would they may know something we don't also they have better resources to find the correct info. I hope you can get this resolved and get a chance on the next board. Good luck!
