My divorce has nothing about custody in it. And that's the way we want it. Kids visit often. Should I still receive BAH?

What is a Pg.2? We are good with not putting the custody of the kids on paper. We are treating it as if we were still married. Only, we won't be married. The kids would come to visit as often as we choose. We aren't having one of those fight for money/kids divorces. We will be divorced, but as far as our kids are concerned, it will be as if we were still married. I don't know if that really means anything.

Sorry, a Page 2 is the Navy's Record of Emergency Data or the Army's DD93. In the military's eyes you'll be divorced since it's through a court of law. you can get SINGLE BAH since your kids will not be living with you. BAH DIFF won't be a factor since your are not paying child support through the courts. But it looks like you can request SINGLE BAH through your command. Just need to read the base policy with that.

Well, there's a lot of factors that contribute to BAH. Do you have joint and legal custody? Are you claiming them on your Page 2? Do you live out in town or the barracks?

I think if you still have a legal dependent. Honestly, I'm not really too sure.

SrA. I always believed you got it if you had dependent. It was a while ago but I got it based on dependent.

If they're on your Pg 2, I don't see why not. You're also a SGT so you should automatically qualify for BAH.

Should you? Sure. Will you? Doubtful. I'd go get that fixed. I'll tag in a few people who will know better.
