Sfc Robert Walton is not correct, The P is for permanent but P3 is non deployable P2 is deployable. If you have your primary change your profile you will more than likely be separated, I don't know what your specifics are but they would best for the Army do to you not being able to complete any of the events

If you can't do PT, then how can you do basic functions that make you deployable? I'm curious what your medical readiness category is? I assume MR3B, because of the profile, but without any 3 or 4 on PULHES, you don't fail into any deployment limiting categories.

My permanent profile was just updated to “No” for all PT events, but my PULHES code is still 112111. How will the "No PT" events affect me?

Your Primary needs to update the PULHES in their system. This is something that they often forget to do. If you contact your PA or your unit physician they will be able to log into the system and update this information.

According to the regulation, you must be able to one of the cardio events. If you are unable to do an alternative cardio event such as the walk, swim or bike, then you must be a P3. Whomever wrote your permanent profile is unfamiliar with the regulation.

It can get you passed over for promotion, special assignments and schools. Are you listed as non-deployable? If so, you may be looking at separation or med board.Speak with your provider about your limitations and your condition, sometimes civilian docs don't understand military fitness. Also, if they have deemed you not healthy enough to take the APFT they you may want to reconsider you Army career and what your health means to you. Get a second medical opinion if need be.

If it is a P your none deployable and your paper work should have already been sent to a MRB for determination, Check with your MO to see. Nothing is written in stone so your going to have to check up on it with your MO and Chain of Command.
