Are these still happening in the operational units? I know some of the older Soldiers on here will remember them. I think it was a very important thing that built camaraderie between NCOs and gave you the opportunity to meet the rest of the NCOs in your BN.

I want to hear your thoughts, and stories from the older crowd (and the younger if you have done these)

I think the last true NCO Call that I attended was while stationed in Germany with the 11th ACR, we conducted a monthly NCO call. While assigned to the Armor School, most specifically with 316th CAV BDE, I did attend quite a few Stable Calls, but they were a mix of Officers and NCOs.

I have been to several, mostly at Fort Riley but a few in other places. i think they are a great part of the army and provide an important link between the Jr and Sr NCO's that i have seen first hand be used to make big changes to improve the unit.
