Do read actual discussions before demonstrating your own bias....ask intelligent questions before you vote--as you should do before the pending ELECTIONS, and no, we don't assume future War Brides will all be male Brads...or Bobs....

WE will call them spouses! The same respectful term we would use for any married couple!

I don't wanna slam on Brad Pitt, but I like War Brads, though 1SG (Join to see) is right, spouses is the respectful term.

I will add that I have a number of friends who are gay and lesbian. They tease and say War Brads. Many gay couples I know refer to their spouses as their husbands. It is totally acceptable. While this thread may seem flippant, I don't believe it's meant to be insulting.

PV2 Wilcox, thanks for your mature comments. Some people don't realize that a bias for or against even how an issue is presented is still bias. That's part of the point about labeling anyone. Life if full of uncomfortable questions that don't go away because we vote them down. I'm happy to get down votes as it proves we have a variety of opinions. You be the judge on whether those opinions are well thought or knee jerk emotional reactions that are just as bad as the original discriminatory issue.

LTC Labrador, yes. I would have said "surely", but some overly sensitive soul would vote me down for the pun.
