Now that the AGSU is out and available, what uniforms would you suggest to have, ASU, Dress Mess, or AGSU?

I had Dress Mess as an Enlisted Soldier. It looks AMAZING. However, in comparing the price vs how often it actually gets worn, I don't think I'll be buying a new coat for being a W now. It's been 6 years since I've gotten to wear it at all.
If you will be attending lots of Balls/dining ins/outs (like 4 or more a year) then by all means yes get the Dress Mess - it can't be beat and the ease of putting it together compared to all of the pins on the ASU is unmatched. Dress Mess - mini medals, mini badges, and branch affiliation.....too easy.

ASU and AGSU, the Dress Mess is way fancier and more expensive than most troops are willing to deal with. That said certain events would probably qualify for the Dress Mess, and it does look good.

The AGSU is supposed to become our office uniform so keeping it maintained is going to become a necessity, and the ASU is supposed to fall into our standard ceremonial uniform so keeping that on standby would be good to do.
