We don't have Generals like this today with the exception of Gen (USMC Ret.) John Allen who was unfairly passed over to be Supreme Commander in Europe during the Gen Petraeus scandal. When he commanded troops in Iraq (Marines) and Afghanistan (US Forces) we were winning both wars. America sorely lacks visionaries and war fighters like Krulak and Allen.
