Seasoned LROs - if you could go back to the beginning and pen a new ODP, what would it look like? What would be your ideal career progression?

Truthfully, ODP barely exists in our career field. Everything for me has essentially been OJT. Mentorship and career progression have been a huge shortfall - to the point where I can think of one person in my 8 years and 4 bases that has taken on that mentoring/career guidance role.
This could be just my perception and experience instead of a systemic issue, so take that into consideration.
