Two interesting things stick out in my great memory, neither was my punishment, one soldier left his weapon unattended in a truck and the truck left. The squad leader gave him a wood 4x4 the length of a m16 with a sling to carry the rest of the week.. Another soldier fell asleep on perimeter guard and our Squad Leader had the young soldier low crawl the rest of his shifts back and forth between fighting positions on the perimeter for the rest of the night. (about 3 hours worth)

One of my favs was a lost ID card. Carry around a huge cardboard replica of the ID card for a while...very funny.

How did they make him so small? It's obviously some sort of super-ray, but what kind? Will he ever grow to his original size? I think it would be coolest if the ray is blue.

We had one guy who was always sleeping so we made him wear a clock around his neck with the words 'Time is my enemy" on it. Didn't help much, though. But was funny as you know what.

Mine wasn't for screwing up, mine was trying to fix a civil engineering mistake. Our Battalion building was built downstairs from the parking lot. One day I was the Staff Duty Runner and it was raining pretty bad. One of our Battalion NCOs came down and told me to keep the walk leading from the parking lot to the Battalion Building clear of mud and the large puddle that was washing out from the areas waiting to be seeded with grass into a low spot on the sidewalk so the battalion personnel didn't get their boots muddy as they were walking into their new building. Everyone that walked by asked me what I did wrong. I laughed and said, "I'm just lucky enough to have Staff Duty today." Then someone else walked by and was pissed that I was getting their snow shovel all muddy. All in a days work when you're part of that E-4 Mafia.
