Regardless of impact on the outcome, is there evidence that Russia attempted to interfere with the election (or is it fake news)?

Hi, Major Zeski.
Could Russia hack our IS infrastructure? Sure. Did they? Probably. Did they do it to sway the election? I doubt it. The effort involved would outweigh the gain. It's more likely that people are looking for a reason why President Trump won a presidency that everyone assumed was already Hillary's, and settled on our decades-old foe.

The only hack was into emails that exposed the true nature of HRC, it is not clear that the Russians had anything to do with that, but lets pretend that they did. What they exposed was her criminal and immoral activity, and that of the DNC.

It wasn't just emails. The Russians were in the DNC network for over a year - which screams pathetic security. Hell, Mattis even said there is little doubt the Russians interfered. Quit focusing on Hillary, focus on the act and who carried it out. Now focus on the impact another government could have over the US. That is what we cannot stand for.

SFC Chad Sowash The hackers were in the DNC servers for a long time, and their security was pathetic, but all they accessed were emails, and they released some of them. It is not like the changed votes, or vote counts. The only credible source on who hacked the DNC comes from Wikileaks, and they say it was a DNC insider. What hack revealed was a massive violation of the espionage act by Hillary, her lying to congress and the American people about her violations of the espionage act, and a lot of shady and illegal actions by the Clinton Foundation. In summary, the hack brought the truth to the American people and it cost HRC the election in all likelihood.

SPC Randy Semanko - I know it'sounds the new cool thing and all but calling something fake news doesn't make it go away ESPECIALLY when there's a video with Mad Dog saying it. "Little doubt" not much different from "No doubt". If you'd like more translation just let me know - English is tough. lol

What is the interference of which you speak? Did the have an effect on the outcome? - unlikely. Did they expose some truths that hurt Hillary? - surely.

Sgt Steven Thomas - Agree. But, some seem to think it is all the Russians fault.
The example I used is that I rob a bank. Later someone tells the cops I did it. It is not the fault of the person who reported me. It is my fault.
