I have been told there is a regulation emplaced my congress for Soldiers retiring from service. This comes into play when you have over 60 days of transition leave and on top can receive 20 PTDY for house hunting and/or jobs. Has anyone seen this regulation? If so, please let others know of it. Thank you in advance. Oh, forgot this has to end with a question mark?

I have seen this in writing, but I cannot remember if was a regulation, MilPer message, or a Policy memo. Talk to retirement section at your in/out processing.

I was browsing around APD looking to see if this was a regulation, ALARACT, MilPer or any of the sort. Even SGM Google didn't offer anything good. I will have to head to Retirement Services and see if they can shed some light.

SSG Jason Neumann - SGM Erik Marquez will probably either know or have the written policy/reg/ for this - This man is an amazing amount of knowledge

Question Folks. What is the regulation/policy on earning .5 days of leave? Is it rounded up to one day or rounded down to no days?
Example: Soldier takes 64 days of Terminal Leave and has accumulated 63.5 days.

From what I remember working with transitions, you can't take a half day of leave. The half day is simply sold back for 1/60th of a month's worth of base pay
