RP Question: Do Veterans or Retired count as members of the major branches, or only current servicemembers?

So I'm looking at the gaps in my RP profile, and I'm seeing that according to RP, I'm not "connected" to people from all four major military branches.

I see all four represented in my Contacts list, but that bit is still incomplete. Does this refer to JUST current service members?

To get the "all major branches" bonus, you need all 5 branches, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard. Retirees count as their active branch of service. Sounds like you missed a branch.

I'm also a veteran teacher, but unfortunately being a security officer at Facebook pays better at the moment. The good news is that it has given me time to finish my MS, so it is all good. :)

I deployed Nov '05 to Nov '06, BOG back home Veterans Day 2006.

I was there briefly as part of a side mission to inspect the chemical defense readiness of several internment facilities that fell under the 43rd MP Brigade.

When I wasn't taking Catfish Air to random places, I was normally on VBC as a TIF OIC.
