Can be said with different inflections to mean different things.
Loud Deep and Proud = Hell Yeah!
Just loud top of the lunges = Let Us Go!
Quick and loud = Okay
With pregnant pause = f off
Quite and fast = what ever or who cares
Slow and quite = bad day

Our unit's was Battle Ready responded with Fit to Fight. Among friends it was Sham On responded with Lay Low.

For me it's always a greeting that makes the custom have meaning beyond an arm movement. When the statement is something along the lines of a genuine check on their soldier/sailor I was alway impressed
