San Jose Mayor Sam Licardo blames Mr. Trump for riots, but doesn't address rioters. Should he resign?

It wasn't until after he got the crap beat out of him on Twitter and Facebook that Mayor Licardo posted a statement that blah blah blah ... Prior to that it was all about Mr. Trump's rhetoric. In the meantime, men and women beaten (some were just walking downtown), damage, etc. I should mention that Mayor Licardo has already endorsed Secretary Clinton.

It was all fun and games with people were getting beat up and thrown out at Trump rallies. Crazy how the shoe is on the other foot.
Trump's first problem is he thinks he can go around and disrespect people and make threats and expects no backlash. Well Mr. Trump when you run your mouth, be ready to test your threats.

SgtMaj Mark Davis - Words are never a justification for violence. That is 1000% spot on. The problem is.....his own words started this. Before, the most you'd see is someone yell at a candidate and be escorted out. But once he began advocating violence, then those words in HIS mind is a justification for violence. You cannot run around the county disrespecting damn near everyone in America and NOT expect for some payback. I'm not justifying the violence, personally I think it's stupid. But if he came around my way and said some racial or bigoted comments, he would most certainly get what he's giving. Nobody has to be called names by someone else. Words have consequences. Neither HRC or Bernie had anything serious happen at their rallies other than some BLM folks taking the stage from Bernie, or shouting loud enough at a Clinton rally to shut her down and meet with them. Both of those instances there was no violence.

I think it was easier on his part to shift blame because it goes with the narrative stated by the left. It also sounds like the PD was given a stand down order similar to the one in Baltimore.

She also ordered the police to evict Occupy Oakland protesters camped out in front of City Hall, and then allowed the protesters to return. Odd how she lost reelection right?

He should not. He also needs to address the rioters. Trump started this when he ran his mouth about how things were done before, how he would do this or that to someone, and if you get into trouble, he'll pay your lawyers fees. The last one is damn near a get out of jail free card. And right after that, the old man sucker punched a protester while he was being escorted out. So in this case and this election cycle, folks thought it was a god idea to be non PC. We're getting what we give. Both parties are wrong, all of the candidates who won't put an end to this are wrong, but it is what it is. This isn't a dem or con thing, it's all about someone stroking the flames, and when it gets too hot, they want to play innocent.

MSG (Join to see) - I'm not justifying this. I even said this wasn't a liberal or conservative issue. It's a situation where Trump opened Pandoras box and all hell came out with no one expecting what was to come. There wasn't anyone fighting before that. You had the "experts" on lamestream media fanning the flames also, and it allowed the weak minded to be what they really are....SHEEP. Trump also didn't help any when he put students out of a rally BEFORE the rally was to take place. It just so happened they were all black. I blame Trump on that even though he directly was not the one who put them out, it was his minions who did. MSG BOTH parties are wrong when all they do is talk a good game about "not supporting" or "reining in" those who do these things. BOTH refuse to take blame for this crappy ass election cycle, the lack of professionalism displayed by all, and really lay it out there to their followers "If you are caught demonstrating in a violent manner, I will personally see to it that you are prosecuted to the maximum extent of the law". No one will say that being it would alienate a good portion of their "base", and things are so close that they make BS statements condemning the violence or finger pointing at the other candidate.
