No. Men are responsible for their actions. We do not need another Article, and the military will not ban marriages.

Nope, they, 18, are really quick witted mostly emotional testosterone led apprentices, not to be allowed the responsibility, or allowed, the responsibility, of taking command of a Navy Combat Ship, or Marraige, like a seasoned Salty Leader who signed off on some basic PQS for such a leadership position. Leadership positions, Partnership positions such as marriage, equal to a shipmate or battle buddy, need some objective non emotional PQS Vetting. Yes 16 yo's if you allowed them by law, could volunteer to join the military and also get married start a family, but possibly not logically ready, just because they are able to say yes as opposed to no. So I second that opinion create UCMJ Article 147

PO3 Aaron Hassay - The military will not ban marriages, and would not try because it would not stand. At some point, you have to take responsibility for your own actions. Do you also want to ban marriage of civilians until they are 20?

PO3 Aaron Hassay - Sgt (Join to see) No one is giving an 18 year old command of a Navy ship.

My brother got married shortly after he enlisted, after IET she was still there and still is. I'm not sure we need a new article. Maybe just communication with younger Soldiers on how they should be cautious.
