I’m currently paying over 100 dollars to make it when I have a vehicle but I’m not allowed to use it so when I asked why I got no answer.

You're asking about NCOs driving but you listed yourself as PVT. But I digress. Regarding the driving rule. If the TRADOC rules and the Company you are in for Reclass dictates you cannot drive your POV while in training....then it's what it is. When I went to WLC, all of us that had driven in were not allowed to use our POVs at all during the course.

I went to PLDC at Ft Benning, we were permitted to start our vehicles on the weekends.

SSG Laurie Mullen - Camp Williams, UT. We were told to park them in a particular spot and leave them there. For the whole period of the course.

It depends on that TRADOC unit's policy. When I went to the NCO Academy, we were NOT permitted to take our vehicles. When my son (YEARS later) went to the AB course, the policy there - at least for his next gig (Ranger Indoctrination Program, "RIP"), he could have his car, but ONLY if he had it when he processed-in. If he arrived without it, he could NOT get it or have it delivered to him ... so I drove to Benning in his car between AB and RIP and it was fine and he was allowed to drive it.
In the end, you can only follow the policy, whatever it is.
