If anyone other then him had taken those classified,Top secret documents would be arrested ASAP as was other military personnel who had taken secret documents have been arrested and some have already served time . This is just another reason why many American citizens feel betrayed how the laws pertain to people with status money and power.

I will not opine upon the pending criminal charges now levied against Donald J. Trump. They will be decided where they should be, in a courtroom. While I voted for him both times he won the nomination, it was mostly by default, his opponents being even more distasteful to me as a conservative. While I laud his policies as POTUS, his numerous character flaws my well result in another defeat such as in the last election, which resulted in the numerous failures of the current administration. I would much prefer to vote for an individual whose policies are at least similar to those of Trump but who does not have the baggage of Trump's arrogance and braggadocio.

Sure, he should run for president in 2024 which will give a Democrat candidate for president a clean and undisputed victory to the White House. Donald J. Trump's term in office (2016-2020) was a historic disaster that will have enduring and lasting negative effects for decades. For all that disagree with me, give yourselves a chance by removing your cult follower blinders and check Trump's "achievements" while President:
A. Promised an immediate repeal and replace of the Affordable Care Act with prescription medicines so affordable that "your head will spin", as soon as he'll get in Office. Nope, nada even with a Republican majority during the first two years of his term. Promises babbled out, promises not delivered.
B. Promised a beautiful southern border wall that'll keep all those rapist and murderers out of the US. Nope, nada. Promises babbled out, promises not delivered.
C. Promised to get rid of National debt and balance the Budget. On the contrary, added $7.1 trillion more to the debt. Nope, nada. Promises babbled out, promises not delivered.
D. Promised an 'Infrastructure Week'. Nope, nada. Promises babbled out, promises not delivered.
E. Promised high paying jobs of the likes you haven't heard or seen before. LOL!!!
F. Reassured the American public that the Covid-19 was just a common case of the flu and would go away during the summer. Even though he knew about its severity according to recorded conversations with a book author. Over 555,000 confirmed deaths because of his inaction.

All in all, Trump's term in Office was seen by him as an opportunity to salvage his failed business dealings and brand name by abusing his position of President of the USA. From Ivanka's $77 million chinese trademarks, to Jared Kushner's $2 billion real estate Saudi deal. Yep called a money grab of historical proportions. Not to mention the Secret Service's overpriced stays in his golf resorts on the taxpayer's dime, his hysterical Executive time abuses, well you know he wasn't going to play any golf and was to be the most hard working President of all time if elected.
