Should I expect to be short a paycheck soon if the Army paid me BAH 2 months ago, and now says that I am in debt?

The army paid me bah for some reason 2 months ago, and it says im in debt, should i be worried about missing a paycheck or can i talk to someone about the amount that could be taken out every check ?

They will not take your entire paycheck to pay the debt. The debt will be taken in payments over however long it will be. the length is determined by the amount and some other things. I would recommend you contact your S1 to ensure your BAH paperwork is now set properly and then Finance office to see how much the payments will be. I highly doubt you will get a No Pay Due LES.

They 100% can take the entire paycheck as they have done it to me. Got myself a good ole no pay due notification. Thank god for savings lol

SSG (Join to see) - I've actually never seen a No Pay Due for debts. And I know a lot of folks that had debts. Hence why I said they wouldn't. Damn. Just learned something new.

I highly recommend you to go to finance to get a better understanding of why you actually have the debt and what options will you have to pay it back.

At some point they will take what they say you owe.
They can take it quickly, as opposed to when they “owe” you it takes some time.
Always stay aware of what you should be paid and immediately report inconsistencies. Never spend that extra-as it will be recalled at some point.
