I get it!
What happened between Michael Brown and Officer Wilson was tragic.
But the GRAND JURY found that officer Wilson was NOT at fault, how is another jury going to say that Brown's death was wrongful? I believe Officer Wilson was the victim in this case. Just much like the case I just sat on. If the lead detective says he can't say the defendant was in possession, then how does he expect us to?
Even more so, I don't understand how two parents that left him a gammys are able to bring up a lawsuit. He lived there until his death. Grandma should be getting that money, if there is any won.
AND moms might face some felony charges of her own... because of money.

SO if this doesn't prove that all they were interested in was fame and monetary gain, I don't know what else will. I think this has gone beyond Ridiculous.

Should they be able to sue. Yes. should they win... Absolutely not! Should they pay legal fees, YES!

Every citizen has access to the legal system. In this case, they also (will hopefully) have the right to pay court costs when it is thrown out for being absolutely frivolous.

The right to seek redress for grievances even through lawsuit should not be limited.

Which certainly will come out if a Judge even accepts the case. The point is the ability to file suit vs the ability to win a suit. Anyone should be able to make a grievance. Judges should have ample opportunity to throw out fraudulent and frivolous cases such as this, and seek debarment of the lawyers if severe enough.

Sorry I might've misspoke... But until his death, he lived with grandma. I don't want to give the wrong idea out.

Personally I think so many people are "civil suit" happy when a "loved one" is injured or killed by police. If you are properly raising your loved one and doing your dam best to do right by them and then for some reason they get injured or killed by a police officer and its found that the police officer didn't follow protocol then sue your butts off. However if the loved one is a typical criminal, even a low level criminal, and the police officer is not negligent in their duties by using lethal force then forget any lawsuits. Yeah it sucks the big one to lose your loved one no matter the circumstances but don't be a burden on society and then expect to collect a payday at the cost of the city or state.
