The words he has spoken while on many of his Twitter rants has brought great dishonor to this country, to those who have served and those who continue to do so. His use of Twitter should not be allowed to continue

I am convinced that President Trump is implementing a mode of communication and commensurate understanding that is entirely his own. Indeed, President Trump is contributing to America a quality of insight, conviction, and leadership that is key in rescuing us from a decades-long spiral path that has very nearly led this nation to a low point of no return.

There is no proof that it's even him doing the "communicating"--it's probably a staffer much of the time. There is also no way to ask questions about the various ambiguities or outright lies that the "tweets" contain. Let him hold a press conference once a week with an honest give and take with members of the press.

and no proof that it's NOT him doing the communicating; seems like the liberal view busies itself with the proverbial Navy descriptor: p#%%#*& up a rope.

you can disagree with him - unless your active duty, then there are regulations that bind you to remain silent about criticizing POTUS, but that does not make him wrong for this - Obama made an agreement for the country by circumnavigating the checks and balances specifically emplaced by the founding fathers in order for the executive branch to not have unlimited power - bottom line is the only person that agreement was binding to was Barack Obama. The agreement also had a clause that required POTUS to renew the agreement every 90 days and trump exercised the executive branches right to not renew - Obama did this, not trump, not congress, not your elected federal representatives.

well - with blue checkmark reporters personalities and the like all saying he "violated" the agreement with Iran and fail to mention that the Iran Agreement was not binding because it was never ratified by congress, thus not even a legal agreement, I would say absolutely not - twitter is the only means he has of getting whatever it is he needs to get out unfiltered and not twisted by the media that absolutely is frothing at the mouth because someone dares challenge them on their ethical and moral responsibilities to the people.

Though it is a technological device, it is not something the White House should be using as a tool to speak with - ever!

In order to maintain the sanctity of the Oval Office! Every government must maintain order within, even at the highest of levels. Within that Office, they are surrounded by some smartest, most educated, professional, militarily careered individuals this country has to offer for guidance in what to say and do in times of need and when until they place that App in the palm of their hands - would you not agree with those statements? Would you not also agree that that seat is there to serve the people - that’s why it is just a job, unlike those that have made the Senate and Congress a career. The only two remaining time-honored seats are the Presidency at 10 years and the VP at 8 (if I recollect from my government classes of 35 yrs ago...)
So having said that, those statements that they serve “We The People”, their personal opinion should remain in check - just like those of our previous seated Presidents... Until recently, every former President has remained in the shadows and only come forward in the time of need of the current sitting Presidents need. We have never witnessed what is currently going on with regards to the bickering to the degree we currently see... At least as far back as I can recall! Those are my reasons. And yes, I voted for Trump.

It doesn't help him. Poorly considered words, blurted out in emotional outbursts are A) Asking for legal trouble. B) Discoverable for legal proceedings, and C). Make him look like a stupid, immature .teenager.

No - it has given him an unfiltered voice to the American people. Do I wish he would use it more responsibly - Yes. Especially important since the media is not trustworthy.

The Office of President should be held to a higher standard than the rest of the country. Not descend the office into the depths of a narcissistic egomaniac who does not care about anything other than the dollars he can fleece from the people he cons.

Yes, But he needs a filter, he has a responsibility as the face of the American people to present the upmost professional appearance. Frankly some of his tweets are shocking and lack tact and decorum. When you have the responsibility to uphold the Constitution you aren't necessarily granted its protections. A Service member cannot just say what they want. We took an oath to defend and uphold the Constitution. but we have certain restrictions placed upon as by our service.
