Should President Trump provide credibility back to UCMJ by charging to start with: Admiral Green, Adm Gilday, Secretary Spencer?

I feel you get paid to do what your boss needs you to do. If a person feels he does want to follow orders he should find a new job

@MSG Stan Hutchison I hope your opinion was consistent for Clinton. I would hate to think a senior NCO didn't have solid ethics and integrity of thought.

The Secretary is not subject to the UCMJ. He is serving as a civilian. As for the Admirals, they were following the rules set forth by the SecDef and SecNav. The penalty for the SecNav is dismissal or resignation. The penalty for the Admirals is dismissal or retirement. All pentalties are up to the SecNav, SecDef or CINC.

In war, people get killed. It is the enemy’s job to die. When a US military member arranges that to happen, he/she should not be punished for it. High ranking officers take actions as they did against Gallagher because of nothing more than political correctness and pressure from the media. I am glad Trump intervened. Gallagher is a decorated hero IMHO. Desk jockeys should have handled this in house with minimal punishment.

Yes, he should and I disagree with the MSG Stan Hutchinson. Trump may have dodged the draft he may have even wanted to dodge it many folks don't serve for a variety of reasons. Although it is not the same he did spend time in Military Academy, so he knows the structure and rules. He should discipline those who are undermining his authority, like it or not. Insubordination I believe is the charge.
In general. Article 91 has the same general objects with respect to warrant, non-commissioned, and petty officers as Articles 89 and 90 have with respect to commissioned officers, namely, to ensure obedience to their lawful orders, and to protect them from violence, insult, or disrespect. Unlike Articles 89, and 90, however, this article does not require a superior-subordinate relationship as an element of any of the offenses denounced. This article does not protect an acting non-commissioned officer or acting petty officer, nor does it protect military police or members of the shore patrol who are not warrant, non-commissioned, or petty officers.
The President, like him or not is the Commander and Chief and his wishes and or orders should be taken seriously and in spirit with those wishes. If an officer or even a MSG doesn't like it one can resign their commission or the enlisted can wait out till their time is up. Just my thoughts on the matter.

He is the CinC and he can remove anybody by way of “distrust in leadership”. For the one who called him a draft dodger shame on you. I didn’t know Obama was Prior Service while the Don was in a Military Academy. He is doing an Outstanding job as a CinC and as far as he does it right he can do whatever he wants for our benefit unlike his predecessor. I lost great Soldiers thanks to Obama but I always respected him because he was my CinC. It doesn’t matter if the President is Bozo the clown

Wanna trade insults? I can play. Like most of the non Medical Corps Officers, especially those in rank O-4, you appear over-educated for your level of intelligence.
As for how I got out? I was retired. Note: that does not say "I retired." With 18 years, 1 month AD, 2 tours in Vietnam as an 11B and 31M (Combat Support Signal), and 5 years of running an Emergency Department (I ran it, there were no officers), I got kicked out with 30% disability. The day of my Board, I had worked my ass off on three of the Major that sat on my Board's troops, who were involved in a MVA, one (dammit to hell) did not survive his injuries. But this over-educated for his intelligence Major has the audacity to tell me that I'm unfit for further service. He showed his ass when, as I'm holding up the conference table, and Col Abrams (the son of my former Commander, the one with 4 stars) tells me to put the table down, and I said, "Excuse me Colonel, but this REMF Major doesn't seem to think I can carry a man off the battle field." And the Major had to ask, "What's a REMF?" If you have to ask, you might just be one.
As for your silly assed little meme up there, may I remind you first, that Santayana said,"those that forget the past are doomed to relive it." and second you and I lived in a socialistic society, the Army, and both of us have done well by it. No form of government is perfect, and the USA is a grand experiment. You don't like socialism, stay off the roads, do not send your children to school, figure out how to take care of your waste and how to purify your own water. All of that is cutesy of Governmental Socialism.
As for my oath of enlistment. I do not have one. I suck the Governments tit and collect the money. I am not subject to recall for any reason. And unlike you, who is (unless you were medically retired) under Federal obligation until you are at least 65, an enlisted person has a contract for their enlistment, it expires when the contracted time period is completed. My "contract" expired in 1985, and I was allowed to remain in service pending medical retirement, at the convenience of the Government. So hand that trite lie to someone gullible enough to believe it.

What makes you think I never wore a Blue Cord in my life. Also what makes you think that I wasn’t retired? You know a lot about me ghost from Christmas Past. OIF03, OEF08. I’m not insulting anyone. I’m respecting my Oath.

The New York Military Academy (NYMA) isn't a a military service academy. It's a private college-prep boarding school, the academic equivalent of a high school. Although I'm sure there are students who chose it in anticipation of a military career, it's also a place where wealthy parents send their misbehaving brats to have them "straightened out." I'm always amused when people confuse it with "military service" when they should be thinking "reform school."

Look again Major. There are several prominent military men and women that attendeed NYMA. President Trump excelled in that academy in any event. He attained the rank of Captain. That is to his credit. There are a number of Presidents that did not even have THAT on their resume. Trump loves the Military and the Police. Does he not deserve respect for the honor that he bestows on our troops and our law enforcement?

Commander in Chief. Love him or not, insubordination, and refusal or failure to follow lawful orders come at a price. the various JAG offices got caught, more than once. RAdm Green made a choice. Allow him to retire. anything more looks like retaliation, and that is not good for the service in the long run.
