Should the Grateful Public step up and Become More Active Where Helping Occurs?

I can find veterans and military sites easily on the web, because they are making a point, but finding civilian sites that are reaching out offering assistance in exchange for defending our Democracy are more rare. More effort needs to be made physically rather than comments of appreciation. This is why I created the Veterans Day Weekend 2016-2019 so events, hosting Veterans and families can be used to demonstrate genuine appreciation for the sacrifices of the entire family, especially kids that lost time with loved ones and harbor grudges. The general public who receive the benefits gained by those heroic few must demonstrate more appreciation without peace keepers having to "ask"
