Why not? It completes the dictator trifecta of portraying the free press as an enemy of the state, attacking the judicial branch as illegitimate when it doesn't agree with the fearless leader, and now parading its military in pompous public displays that serve no actual deterrent purpose and only serve as an ego boost to the fearless leader. Is there anyone on this website that believes that terrorist groups or the North Korean and Iranian governments don't already know what our military consists of? It's public knowledge, easily obtainable. A parade like this in the US would be a total embarrassment. And no, it doesn't honor the troops. They are the ones that get screwed out of spending the holiday with their families to have to march in that BS, not even counting the weeks of prep painting and repainting vehicles and marching practice. I thought weneeded our troops to be more focused on war fighting stuff, not dog and pony shows. And it would cost millions of dollars to fund it.
Funny how liberals are only concerned with "cost" when it has to do with military spending or god forbid a military parade to show a sense of national pride. You jock sniffers would rather worship your anthem kneeling million dollar babies, than see warriors on display. Funny we always find money for refugees and illegal aliens to go to college, not to mention the plethora of welfare benefits given out. But this oh, "ain't nobody got money for that!"
