Please do not comment if you are still serving in the Military in some capacity; a/o where potentially your job, livelihood, or position could be at risk.

Thomas Jefferson when he was writing the Constitution wanted to abolish slavery right then but they knew if they tried to do it then they would lose the southern states that had slaves. If you are going to teach anything then teach the truth regardless how it hurts, we have had slavery since almost the man started in this world to include up to today. The sex slavery that goes on today is such a sad thing especially with kids between age 3 to 17 year old, did you know that in this type of slavery that 60% of the sex slavery in the world happens right here in the United States, look what happens around a Super Bowl event. So if you are going to teach something then teach the truth not CRT or 1619 project junk.

Actually without it there has been too much racism. White children are raised learning they are better than all other races. And male whites are raised to believe they are just naturally smarter than all others.

Critical Race Theory is a device used to divide our country, race and way of life.
It is an essential part of communist doctrine with one result only, the destruction from within of our country.

No. I think 'CRT' (and what that is depends who you ask) is a divisive distraction. Leadership courses need to be focused directly on leadership, and universities should be focusing on teaching history, facts, skills, and the critical thinking techniques needed to apply those facts and skills in a dynamic environment. Teach HOW to think, not WHAT to think.

Prejudice is based on experiences with a person. Race, color etc. aren't the issues, the little Korean kid who kicked your butt in the sixth grade is. Maybe the [blank] who stole your lunch money or robbed you on the way to work. How about the guy who shot your brother [was he a robber or a cop]. Today, the big prejudices are against law enforcement.

This is a racist comment. So the races we are racist against are criminals and that’s why you are racist? Only other races comit these crimes? Is that why our grandparents hung black people? Because a black person stole there lunch money?

Judy, You are the biggest idiot I have every read. Nowhere was color or national origin mentioned [except for the Korean boy]. Please pull you head out and read juvenile crime statistics. That is where PREJUDICE starts. Tell me which group is in the lead? They can be located at: https://www.ojjdp.gov/ojstatbb/crime/ucr.asp?table_in=2

To throw another rock into the pond - Jean-Paul Sarte come up with the novel idea that all societies should be judged based on the treatment of the least favored groups in a society - this idea made him more radical than the Communists.
OT of interest to this group, Sarte's Military Unit was a Weather Station Unit ( he had bad eyes)

Just beware who you bring in to teach it. We used to have Equal Opportunity & Human Relations classes back in the day. For a guest speaker, they invited in a black retired US Army general. As soon as he opened his mouth, it was obvious he was a full blown racist & sexist. This was at a very small Army post near DC. He's a general so we better just sit here & take it. He made eye contact with a black female E-5 in our company & he asked if she had anything to ask him. He used a sexist slur when asking. She asked to speak frankly & he allowed it. Wow, did she give in an earful. His response was very condescending & the more he explained his mindset, he dug himself deeper. Then other women & minority men stood up to rip him a new one. "We are all green, how dare you come in try to separate us". Then the entire company started booing him. He walked right out of the auditorium. Everybody in our company was high-fiving & giving each other hugs. So if CRT is not open to discussion & the troops must sit there & listen to someone's views then it will not have positive outcomes. We never got in trouble for chasing that general out of our midst. A few months later, we had a local white man & woman from some business group try to give us presentation that was also racist & sexist. They were lucky to leave with their lives. We are all green. Period. Will CRT have positive outcomes or will it divide?

SSG Watkins,
What ever company/battalion/brigade you all are from, I can truly say that I'm so proud of you all. Glad that you all were unified and made the Retired General feel like a penny waiting for change, which we all know does not exits. That's what he gets, hopefully, he
went back to his drawing board bank account to see what other forms of income he can extract coins from vs. trying to feel important giving classes on Human Relations. Just wished I could have participated with you all. Keep up the good work :-) .

It was a very small post that is gone now. Vint Hill Farm Station, VA. In my military career I have seen all kinds racist, bigots, & sexist try to weasel their agenda into the services. At that same posting we had white guys beat up for dating black girls. One black guy from our unit almost got lynched by local rednecks. While in Hawaii, it was discovered that one battalion was almost 100% Mormons for their officers & senior NCOs. They had people in DC were assigning all people of that faith to that unit. Those who came without an assignment were placed in that battalion by the division S-1. In Iraq most guys in my unit were Catholic & the chaplain from our unit was Baptist from Mississippi, he hated our guys. When I was in Germany, we had a light skinned black guy who constantly used racist slurs against non-blacks & even other blacks he deemed not black enough. I found out now that he uses his light skin to be part of an ultra-right wing group. The problem is that we cannot trust anybody 100% to instruct without some form of bias. The old HREO training was great. It instilled unity & cohesion, not separation. We were all brothers & sisters.

We are all green, I totally agree and the Armed forces have and will always be the less segregated in our country.
When Castro took over in Cuba, after Batista fled the country, he pledged an Olive Green Revolution, just like their uniforms, it was only after less than a year, after establishing "mandates" and abolishing free speech and instituting the teaching of his version of CRT that he proclaimed his revolution to be Green on the outside and Red inside.
CRT is a communist doctrine right out of their successful brainwashing and which ultimately leads to destruction of culture and ways of life, it should not be allowed to be preached, it is all simply a lie to destroy from within.
We are adults here, read the comments, imagine what it does to young minds in Elementary and Higher education.
