Should we Ignore Terrorism but Celebrate Gay Pride?

Accuracy in Media is reporting that the Obama administration is ignoring terrorism while celebrating gay pride. How do we veterans and service member feel about this? Please bear in mind, this is not an anti-gay question on my part, it is news that is making the blogs. I actually happen to like most gay people.

Yes...the administration is ignoring the shit out of ISIS...with drone strikes, support packages for the IA, and something like 3000 advisers.
And an administration can only focus on one thing at a time. It is like a goldfish, as soon as you are out of its field of vision, it forgets about you and doesn't do anything about you.

Just because blogs are talking about it doesn't mean it is true. The day to day fight against ISIS isn't the juicy story right now, that doesn't mean it isn't happening.

I'm not ignoring terrorism and Gay Pride has no affect on me..
Just because there is no policy doesn't mean that we as service members or Ret. Vets or even everyday civilian has to ignore Terrorism.
As on a carrier.. 'Head on a swivel, ears & eyes open'

For sure PO1 Acosta. Gay pride has no bearing on me either but I do tend to agree with the premise of the article in that the current administration needs to do more to fight terrorism and less on social policies that they seem so hell bent on. All the best.

It was just an article published about the Obama administration and how they dont have a solid plan to defeat ISIS. I think we should. I think he is harming our country.

SFC William Farrell I agree, but everything does not have to be compared to homosexuality. There are a million things Obama has messed up pick something else. I am pro gay marriage, but it does not need to consume every aspect of our life. I knew I was going to get a thumbs down by somebody, but I am sick of the PC bull. This does not have to be an in your face topic all the time.

SGT William Howell Sgt Howell, I am in no way against anyone, gay, straight, yellow or green and while i am straight, I have many close, gay friends. I jut came across the article and posted the question, the topic was more of what the administration should be concentrating on, rather than pushing one particular agenda which seems to play a big part in Obama's administration.

I don't think the LBGT stuff is affecting President Obama's approach to terrorism. They do all this for Hispanic Pride month, Black History month, Asian pacific Islander month, Month of the Military Child, Army Birthday balls, and about a million other things. You could post the same article for everything the DOD does that is not related to war fighting or Terrorism.
