Background: By now the world is a buzz with what took place at the end of the SOTU by POTUS and the "ripping" by the SOTH at the end of the speech.

Discussion: While I can respect the opinion of Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia to recommend centure (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qPr2EodEAdU), I and many believe that the SOTH's behavior last night is worthy of the SOTH's own centure! The lack of leadership of the SOTH in the 'ripping up" of the SOTU address on live TV is shameful.
It makes NO different if you are RIGHT, CENTER or LEFT. The disrespect shown is not a sign of defiance of this POTUS or solidarity with her party. It is an open attack against "We the people....." As an Independent, I have not always agreed with POTUS on some issues, but that does not mean I will not show the Office of POTUS its proper due, regardless of who hold the office!
I have as does the SOTH the right to "respectfully disagree" as guaranteed under the 1st Amendment; however, as the SOTH the "ripping behavior" boarders on behaviors that reminds me of someone desiring to insight insurrection, but not be held accountable for the actions they transmit.
Recommendation: While the "majority members" of the House will not centure their own Speaker, perhaps the Senate might, in order to send a message to centure the SOTH for such a tantrum during the SOTU!
So my question is this:
Was the behavior of the SOTH a sign that the current SOTH as of Feb 2020 lacks both the maturity and leadership grit to behave in a manner worthy of that office as 3rd in line to be POTUS?

Here's the rest of the story. I got it from FOX News given the fact our president talks to no other channel. It was said that in the letter, it stated SOTH has coronavirus, so excuse me if I don't shake your hand. <You know the president knows these things> She was upset. . .justifiably so. Why? Well, maybe because 1. she got busted for having the virus, or 2. she really didn't and was upset. We really don't know, do we? Should we fault her for that response?

This is nothing. There’s been so much mud slinging and calling people out of name. I don’t know how this one tips the scale. If no one cared about being right, center or left then ALOT of actions would have been called inappropriate and unite everyone in the name of decency. This is more of the same, indecent at worse but nothing out of the norm in this polarized climate. Don’t complain about this if the other things that have happened haven’t caused your decency meter to go past what’s tolerable.

LT David Schmidt - Sir, I agree with the DECAF! LoL I have many hobbies! Some I cannot get to right now! Some are expensive and others not expensive, but time consuming. The diatribe is a diatribe. I often find it interesting and cathartic if for no other reason than to be able to string together a stream of consciousness to help me think though issues and to also share how others come across. I say this because privately, some on RP have contacted me to say "Some are taking your (aka my) post in the completely wrong direction."
I have to say, that until SGM(P) (Join to see)s post, I had not planned to respond. The post was in fact a fishing expedition. But, his words were a good segway to address some thoughts. There are times the sanctimonious are irritating, me included!
In all honesty, I have seen too many get hurt or killed or be shattered for life! Perhaps, as an HM, my sick bay door has been opened 24/7 listening to too many who for reasons of race, gender, etc. did not deserve to be hurt, but were and they had to be put back together!
You know, it is funny! This post has taught me a few things. Things I have needed to address! So, LT David Schmidt thank you for your kindness in your private message. Also, I want to thank a fellow medic SGM(P) (Join to see), whom I do not know, but whom in a few short words I have come to respect for his kind and honest words that caused the diatribe!

These last few years has shown a decrease of professional conduct starting from the top, so this is not a surprise. Does not the leadership at the top reflect the "conduct" of most of the troops in your unit? Well this is not any difference. Trump finished speaking and she tore up the paper. At least she did not do it while he was talking. We need a fresh state of conduct and people within the next year.

As soon as we had a representative shout, "You Lie" during Obama's SOTU, we opened the door for this. At the time Republicans were falling over themselves to defend the statement. Now that the shoe is on the other foot, suddenly it's a problem. Myself and many others warned people at the time this is where we were going. Well how does everyone like it?

I seriously believe Pelosi needs psychiatric counseling. I am being sincere. Hard to watch. She is yet another shining example as to why there should be limits for both congressional people and senate.
