South Carolina principal makes students take flags off their trucks on 9/11

So I read a article this principal at woodruff highschool on 9/11 went to students trucks took there American flags off. And wouldn't give them back until the end of the day citing " it's againist district policy to bring attention to your vehicle no matter what" even though they were showing respect and remeberance. What are the communities thoughts did he do the right thing or take more political correctness to a whole new level of stupidity

I think my kid would have gladly accepted a suspension for that, and I would have been in the principal's office before the day was out.

I'd have gone put another flag up he does again I go into his office leave a nice note on the desk telling him touch my flag I call the cops and put all the flags back up
