I have approximately 75 Mobile Tracking Systems (MTS) in my Battalion. It is BFT for logisticians. This would be an extremely useful tool for things like Annual Training and DSCA operations. I have some problems however. These were issued to the units in 2008 and since then I am quite possible the only person in the State that has any idea how to use them. When they were initially issued we received training on them but that was at the unit/ operator level only. No state leadership or como personnel received the training. So no one knows how to fix them. I am working on the getting the systems themselves fixed. But we recently received a huge fielding of brand new (to us anyway) FMTVs. None of them have MTS mounts in them. SO that is another issue. I think I have a fix for that as well. I am getting to my question I swear. Because no one at the top received any training there was no standardized Statewide SOP developed. I am looking for an MTS Management SOP or anyone that is familiar with using the system stateside to bounce some ideas off of. Thanks

If you are at APG then the experts are right there.  CECOM LARs (Log Assist Reps) should know how to work/fix them.
