Update: My order published with a DoR of 10 Jan 2025. May have to fight for back-pay. Lmk what you guys think.

Same but not fighting for back pay. They have “100 days” that would have been 23 JAN. The system sucks and doesn’t update so tough to make that fight.
My orders are published and g1 still shows awaiting publication. Overall, like the last promotion; the whole process is convoluted and shrouded in mystery by design. At least they didn’t “lose” any of our packets by “mistake”.

Update: now at 93 days in the approval cycle. I admit, it feels odd to be hoping that they delay it past 100. I would have been okay at 60 days, or even 70. But once it got past 80 days I felt hopeful that they'd miss the mark. I think it's questionable-at-best that NGB interprets the law in such a way that they consider a packet "received by the state" as one that they've spent 45-days processing before submitting to HQDA.

I read the law as to when NGB sends it to HQDA. So on this scroll it would be sometime mid-October. Anything before that is a bonus. 6 more days. Hoping it goes to 101 as well with your same sentiment. My thought process is with the new administration, SECDEF wasnt looking at or signing anything. Find out next week!

I am on the same scroll. 58 days at HQDA. My state submitted my packet on September 5th.

My scroll is L01-25 with over a 100 days in “Awaiting HQDA Approval”. I was told that promotion to CPT takes even longer, but they won’t let it go past the 100 days or they have to back pay you.

Same! Thanks! Confirms my suspicions that the G1 portal just isnt updating. Likely the scroll is near completion and we'll probably see orders hit in the next couples weeks. That way we dont get backpay...lol

1LT(P) (Join to see) - Yes, that way the Guard gets to screw us over twice. You get the bonus of getting shorted pay and rank, all while accepting the responsibility of the next higher grade. All because - the federal government wants to ensure that the states know their officers are inferior? I'm actually not sure why fedrec still exists post-GWOT.

This makes two of us. The way I see it, it really adds upwards of a minimum year delay for each promotion. I am eager to see how quickly it gets slammed together between now and the next 2 weeks.
