With the recent amount of stolen valor it is hard to keep up with all the different threads being posted here on RallyPoint. From this point forward if you have a stolen valor question, comment, and or post, then add it here. The posts that currently exist will stay, as we don't want to lose the already existing discussion content. If you have started a stolen valor post prior to this and wish to have it merged to this one then feel free to let me know and I will merge that for you. The initial post will be gone but the discussion content will be merged to this posting.

I've only run into a single wannabe in uniform. He was a local known turd that one of my officers arrested on traffic IN UNIFORM.

Having just been released from my final activation, they notified me and made their suspicions known. I went in and listened to his line of bullshit, asked him who his 1SG was, and got the "we just got a new one" line. I asked him where his unit was, and to his horror he chose the same Company I'd just been released from. The 1SG was my Platoon Sgt in Iraq.

The look on his face was priceless when I called him on my cell and the clown in ACUs could HEAR him on the other side of the glass.

I told him that I couldn't arrest him for impersonating a soldier, but that if I caught him again in uniform impersonating that one or several violations of the very thick Penal and Vehicle Code would be used to put him right back where he was today. Never saw him again.

Hmm let's see he's a e-7 after one month of service? He has an ISAF patch on in acus, he has his high speed tabs in the wrong place, oh also his CIB without a deployment patch and the school badges are all in the wrong place, plus his collar is all fucked up and should not be up, but ahhh I don't see anything wrong with this. But that's none of my business lol

The rank on his pc is to high, his pc is not worn properly, he's wearing his pc inside a building, his unit patch and tabs are crooked, he's wearing an ISAF patch and not deployed, wrong flag for being in garrison, his caller is up with the Velcro done up, and his pin on badges are not set up properly. That's all I found.

What isn't wrong with his uniform??! Unauthorized US flag on the right sleeve, his collar is velcroed which nobody does, he somehow has a CIB with no deployment patch. Last time I checked you can't get your combat infantry badge without being deployed and seeing combat lol
