As we approach closer to Thanksgiving Day, I wanted to take time to say what I am thankful for and hear what everyone else is thankful for.
I am thankful for having a wonderful and caring family that always supports each other through thick and thin. I am thankful for the friends I have made throughout my life. And I am thankful for being given the opportunity to become a future officer in the United States Army.

All of Thanksgiving day I couldn't help but to remember my Thanksgiving spent in Afghanistan.
I am thankful for my brothers in arms, and the men and women who have come before me, and who are deployed and sacrificing today.
Those battle buddies and I made the best of our situation during the holidays and I am forever grateful to have known them and worked with them, and am thankful for their positive influences in my life.

I’m thankful that God hasn’t let me go because I’ve let Him go, lots of time. He rescued me and continued to amazed me with things that are beyond what I deserve for myself.

I am thankful for my amazing, loving family and the friends I still keep in touch with after leaving the service. I'm also thankful for having 4 sweet dogs who are like my kids (I don't have kids, my dogs play that role!) and I'm grateful for their companion support. (Depressed? get a dog!)

It's great to have a dog,But also Be Thankful for prayers going up for us all,Want to be less distressed,Remember, There's a good stress, it's called Eustress,And make a list next of all the things depressing,Them a list of what could make you Happy. It will take time for distressing moments to leave,I do pray that you learn to how to anticipate Distress,And see it before it come and Ask God,Others praying for you for help. When distress comes, write it down and put it in a box and bury it and never dig it up.I will like to connect with you ,Talking helps sometimes,Andzoften Does God bring others across your path to give a kind word or two.We have a slogan at my Church , : " I am to blessed to be distressed. There are alot of good things willing to to share.

I have several things to be thankful for. First, for my two amazing kids. They continue to push me everyday and without them, I'm not sure where I would be. Second, I'm thankful to just be here. As most of you here, being close to death in combat makes you so thankful to just be here. Next, I'm thankful to have the chance to impact the lives of Veterans here in the Pittsburgh /Western PA area. Lastly, and related to the last thing; I'm beyond thankful that the organization I started finally got word back that the IRS approved our application to become a Public Charity under Section 501(C)(3) of the Federal Tax Code. This was 4 years in the making and means that we can do so much more for Veterans including expanding our employment assistance program! I'm excited to see what 2015 has in store for all of us.
