I don't really think the Army is the best branch of service. I actually have zero preference; we are all on the same team. Shouldn't there be more joint offices? Some think their branch and MOS is superior and that there are no equals. What do you think?

I think that all branches have both strong individuals and not so strong individuals. I recently deployed as a member of the 224JCSS ANG in Brunswick GA, a tenant unit of the 3d JCSE out of Tampa FL.
I worked alongside both an Army and a Marine, both with similar career fields as me, Cyber Systems Operations Support. They both were active duty and each had SKILLs in this career field. I am both impressed with the level of training each brought to the table and proud to be a member of the smartest military in the world. I would have no preference working with one branch over another. We all should be proud to work with such talented people when given the opportunity.
So for me, no service is better than the other, each brings a specific skill required to get the job done and an overlap between the branches should be a welcomed site for all of us as we are given the chance to see an entirely different perspective on how to get the job done.

Wait what? You begin with a declarative statement. Then tease an explanation, then ask us what we think on non-existent explanation. Quit with the mind-grenades SFC Fiszel. haha.

The Army is the best branch of service. This is why. What do you think?

I think it's a matter of matching the person to the mission.

/JOKE/
Of course you know there are only 2 branches of service, the Army and the Navy.
The Air Force is a corporation and the Marines are a cult.

And yes I served in the Marines.

I was in the coast guard... I have served with numerous guys who came over from other branches.. All of them said the coast guard was undoubtedly the best. Most likely due to size (30,000) they are best in a position to better take care of their personnel. As you move around from station to station you are likely to cross paths with someone you know..

My position has always been ever since I deployed to OEF I that the services should be combined into a single unified service. I have several reasons for this position. First, we all don't speak the same language. Standardization would help to improve operations. Second, it would remove redundant such as personnel, medical, and materiel. This would increase efficiencies and allow for us to operate on smaller budgets. Now we would have to find a way to keep the best traditions of all the services in this idea. It would probably have to be mainly done at the unit/ship levels. I do not ever expect this to happen because people will resist changes to the status quo but I think that is the next logical step for our services.

So merge the navy and marine corps and disban the Air Force and army. It only makes sense since the navy and Marine corps have the most similar language... Still doesn't sound like an inteligant thought, more like laziness

My feet hurt if I walk too long. No matter how hard I flap my fat old arms I can't fly for nothing. However, I can float and swim forever! So I'll sit on my little old gun mount until my 'travel home' sinks or makes it back to Home Port.
I decline to differentiate as to which Branch of the Service is better. It's a bit like declaring what the best sidearm is. It comes down to personal preference.
"The Service" says it all......

I was deployed with an Army Civil Affairs unit that included the AF, N, and Army. Considering they had daily contact, there wasn't a lot of interaction between those services. The one observation I had was the Navy component, the officers did not treat the lower enlisted very nicely. The officers did not join in to help if there were manual labor duties. At my location, it was just the Navy and Army. The Army enlisted, and the Navy took great pride in getting in their digs against the officers. It became apparent that they liked the belief that there needed to be a negotiation about who would do what duties, "let's take a vote on things."The command staff allowed their activity. I came off of deployment and promptly retired.
