In your opinion, how high or how much will this social/professional network grow ?

Please add your 2 cents.

Everyone who says RP is going to grow 'exponentially' is hereby required to invite 5 new friends to join by midnight. ;). Kidding but not kidding...

They only allow me to leave RallyPoint for 2 bathroom breaks and 5 hours of sleep. Send help....(just kidding?)

Personally I prefer RP to FB and I know others who feel the same. I expect it to grow exponentially over the next three years. I will buy stock if they go public!

I opted out of Facebook because of the proliferation of low value discussion. I think if we as users encourage each other positively, avoid low value topics & flame wars and stay engaged the RP team is going to do great things, I've heard a bit about the exciting plans to come in 2015. I think it's got great potential.

I have gained an immeasurable amount of experience simply by reading the posts of my Seniors, Peers and Subordinates on RallyPoint. I have different points of view, advice coming from all angles, and countless years of experience at the click of a mouse. I grow daily from reading posts on this website and implementing changes in my own leadership style that I would certainly not have by simply communicating with my platoon/unit leadership, peers and subordinates on a daily basis.

I think as long as everyone continues to share, and new members keep it professional and we continue to network and build relationships that RallyPoint could spread service-wide and become a commonplace for mentorship that's open throughout the ranks. Skys the limit.

I definitely agree SGT! I have learned so much in the short time that I have been a member of RP.

Facebook is filled solely with people that I physically know.

RP is a site of conversation on some relevant, and some non-relevant, military (mostly) related topics that fills a niche. I think it needs to not be shared on the internet-i.e. I should not see threads on the open internet CPT Aaron Kletzing (wish you could work on that sir). There is nothing that stops someone from copying and pasting, but...what you see here, what you say here, what you hear here, should stay here! Just my opinion...I would love to see the Facebook and twitter links eliminated.

SPC(P) Jay Heenan I would love for it to remain somewhat closed, and a fantastic resource for the SMs. But, I think that if the comments go public, it will take away from the posts.... CPT Aaron Kletzing

I apologize CPT Aaron Kletzing for not being able to find anything from Nickleback to share with the community. Maybe next time. As far as the future of RallyPoint........

I expect RP to continue to grow, although a lot of people haven't come across it just yet. I love that I can ask questions that I typically wouldn't ask "my" CoC. The number of differing opinions are delightful.

I believe RallyPoint has the potential to grow, if the site becomes to strict or over dictated then I think it will drive people away. But, I hope that RallyPoint continues to grow. I really enjoy the conversations.

I think the folks at RP have done a great job of doing this. I think it is important to understand how innovation plays a role. I remember Friendster was one of the first social networking sites and quickly dissipated. So did Myspace.

I think as long as we anticipate what we can of the future, fulfill the needs of members, then RP will continue to succeed!

Disney world with the kids. Spent $1million. Now I'm back! And by the way SPC Funt, no I did not. There's no such thing as an openion. But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong.

SSG Robert Burns Disney world with the kids? Your RP profile photo should be you with a big smile instead of the 'Man Thinking' serious face. Maybe this is why you slipped from #1 to #2 in Influence Points out of 36,000+ E-6s on RP...?
