Immigration. By that I mean ILLEGAL immigration. The amount of money that is NOT spent on US Citizens because it is wasted on dealing with immigration issues is dumbfounding. Partisan politics is simply politics. We actually need to have different views. Gun control in my opinion means enforcing the laws that are already on the books. When these dirtbags use weapons to commit crimes, CHARGE them with the applicable crimes and SENTENCE them with the applicable sentences.

SSgt Harvey "Skip" Porter
CMSgt James Nolan You are absolutely right on point about the cost of illegal immigration. I am sure you are aware of the story about the dirt bag in San Francisco that killed the young lady with a stolen gun he had been deported several times. I was so shocked in the jury finding him innocent. He is like the poster boy for illegal immigration. Thanks for your comments.
Peace!

I believe these labels are misleading. IMO, they should be Gun Violence, illegal immigration, and radical partisan politics.
Actually, I am more "passionate" about the poor numbers of folks that actually use their right to participate in our election system. Our system is flawed, sure. But it is still the beast form of government in this old world. In our most recent General Election, we had about 6 out of 10 eligible voters actually vote. But, less than 30% of eligible voters voted in the primaries or caucuses.
How can we bitch about the candidates if we don't participate? IMO, this is the most dangerous issue facing our nation.

We have a Constitution and laws that govern both guns and immigration. Partisan politics is what happens when those that don't like the law want to label those that support the constitution and law as terrorists, racists, xenophobes or other pejoratives.
The second amendment is clear and has been upheld for generations but some simply do not like it. The rail against anyone who supports it as a nut or a terrorists or uncaring etc. It is demagoguery of the highest order.
We have immigration laws that are clear and yet we have many that attempt to speak about illegal immigration as if it were legal immigration and talk about anyone that wants the laws enforced as if they are xenophobic or racists.
One side follows the law, the other side name calls, denies the laws exist and wants lawlessness as the order of the day.

Let us have a clear understanding the two most important things to all American’s are Partisan Politics and Immigration, both dangerous to our nation. For me it’s mass and chain immigration of Muslim’s be it through lottery, chain migration which the United Nations have dictated, or simply classifying others as refugee’s. Now not to sound as if I’m Islamophophic, But I see Islam as a major threat to our national security as well as to the American people. Islam condemns assimilation into any culture other then Islam. American culture and society and everything in which this country stands for. Reference: https://clarionproject.org/Muslim Brotherhood’s Strategic Plan for America._ In fact there are immigration laws already in effect but during the Obama tenure, these laws were ignored allowing Obama to flood the country with unvetted Islamic immigration. The immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular found in Chapter 2, Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by “force, violence, or other unconstitutional means”. This by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States. Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Quran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Quran is their life’s guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its radical form of government. Muslims will seek to upstage our American culture and establish rule of law, in favor of replacing it with Sharia Law, something in which Muslims have not only become fanatical about but are focused in achieving. In the United States the laws of our federal, state and local governments are used in deciding cases that come before “Our” courts, with the US Constitution at the top of the hierarchy. Laws of other nations especially those that may appear in the writings of religious groups such as Islam is irrelevant, yet they claim it infringes on the rights of Muslims to practice their religion. The problem is that their definition of “Practicing their religion is so broad as to permit them to preempt the laws of the United States and each individual state. This is not the proper definition of the free exercise of a religious faith, but rather the overthrow of the legal system established in this country by the US Constitution and constitutions of the states. Therefore, much to their dismay, these exclusions include “Sharia Law”, so beloved by Muslims. When one looks at the teachings of the Quran, it is clear this type of primitive behavior “Is not” recognizable or accepted within the American culture. In America, we defend “Our” laws, constitution, safety welfare, and security against “Any” attempt of foreign immigrants and or refugee’s whose sole purpose is to dominate the world with their twisted barbaric and tribal religion, and people who think “Our” nation must accept their particular faith and or law…should return or be sent back to where this type of behavior is acceptable. “Islamic Law Is Not Compatible” regardless who’s trying to spin it, be it liberal left and or politicians, national news media, educators, contributors and or socialistic utopians. Muslims in the United States continue to use their faith as a crutch and or display themselves as the innocent victim, don’t be fooled to their deceptions. Their ultimate goal is globally domination.

The following is the official document from a 1991 meeting which outlines the Muslim Brotherhood’s strategic goals for North America. The document was entered as evidence in the 2008 Holy Land Terror Funding Trial. Federal investigators found the document in the home of Ismael Elbarasse, a founder of the Dar Al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church, …

Guns. Because a civil war will happen if the politicians keep trying to make gun control happen...gun control is using both hands.

I think all sides have severe issues. The Beatles got it right with Revolution:
"You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You'd better free your mind instead"

SSgt Harvey "Skip" Porter I see the issue of Gun Control as much more than just attempting to curb violence. I see it as the U.S. Government attempting to interfere with the Constitution. For those willing to give up their right to keep and bear arms, how long before the right to free speech is surrendered? How about the right to vote? It may seem ridiculous, but it is the nature of the beast, once they start getting into the business of limiting freedom, it is a slippery slope to trampling the rights of the people. Whether one chooses to use a right is an individual choice. Choosing whether others use a right is a bad precedent to set. So out of your three choices, I would rank Gun Control as the issue I am most passionate about, followed by partisan politics (specifically I hate both parties and would love to see more parties in our system or none at all), and finally immigration.
