I often ask myself this question. There are many ways to become succesful today. I think it all starts with trusting yourself and your abilities and asking the question "Why not Me".

Believe it or not, that is a great question that should always be asked, or at least thought.

Working from a retail/wholesale/sales perspective, the "Would you like fries with that?" question is "Is there anything we forgot?" or "We always forget something!" during a discussion.

I know it sounds silly, but try thinking about it during everyday thought, or during normal shopping experiences. And realize what we just forget about, because we are wrapped up doing other things. Even if you go "no, I don't need fires, but I would like an apple pie/X/Y..." That's the real goal.

Not really just one. Work hard, ask every question you don't know, read and learn, and respect everybody! That makes you pretty successful!

Thanks so much for the feedback. I am personally trying to build something on the side, so that I can leave something for my kids. I would love more than anything for them to not have to struggle like we did and have something they can grow with and have a fairly secure life!

I'm on the "giving up is not an option", road. to success so I may be answering your question prematurely, but what the hell. When I am thinking up ideas and looking for ways to make them reality, discourgement usually sneaks its head in, in any number of forms. When that happens I remind myself two different things (not necessarily questions, but close enoght): 1. If I don't do it someone else will....I might as well be the one to own it and 2. Just do it. The people who mocked my dreams 2 years ago are the same ones trying to leach on now as things begin to go boom.....funny how things end up when you ignore the BS and drive on.
