Difference between cats and dogs. A dog knows what it wants but gets less of it; a cat doesn't know what it wants but wants more of it. :D

I got cats because of my crazed work schedule. I just didn't have time to take a dog out to do what must be done. Cats, on the other hand, pretty much are good with a trip to the litter box, some food, and LOTS of sleep.

I have had aquariums for over 20 years. At one time I had 8 in my home ranging from 15 - 55 gallons. Currently I only have one 75 gallon (fresh). Never got into salt water myself. Good luck with the tank!

MSG I have always had a small tank of some sort or another. My new tank is going to be fresh and have Frontosas (one variant or another) as the center piece and then some smaller African Cichlids to compliment.

On dismounted patrol while deployed, I'll take a dog any day. At home, however, cats for the win. Dogs are too needy, and never leave you alone. Cats are like me. They come around occasionally to say hi and eat, then they go back and chill by themselves. The perfect pet!

I use to have Yorkies when I was younger, but now I have a cat. Cats are independent little critters that you don't have to take for a walk. They usually ignore you until they want food or to be petted. When Miss Kitty sees me reading, that's when she wants to be petted.

Outstanding. I had one like that. she passed away a couple years ago. She took no crap, with the exception of the ferret, it would not back down from her.

I have both. and I love it, cat is inside and dog is indoor outdoor. Dog's most definitely require more attention, but you meet more people that way, it's really helped my introvert wife..
