SGT (Join to see), I would be happy to link you up with my brother who would be more than happy to answer any of your questions regarding CID. He is married with two kids and has been an agent for quite some time. Send me a message with your enterprise email and I'll pass it along to him if you would like.

I served for 14 years as an agent, entering single and holding the rank of Sergeant and married two years into my 14 year career. Within 2 years of marriage, I was promoted to WO1 and retired in 1994 as a CW3. That was in 1994. My second career as an insurance investigator has me entering the Fort Carson CID Office on occasion.

Put in your application at join.cid.army.mil and someone from your local office will be in touch. The first part is a small questionarire to see if you meet the prerequisites once that is done the local office will allow you the opportunity to intern and get a good idea of what they do...at any time during the process you can tell them it's not for you and you can opt out
