We have seen many things about our POTUS that many do not like about him, and while we have all had leaders we did not like, we could usually pick out a few things, or traits/characteristics you could use or emulate.

So, list the things you do like, keep it professional as always. What did momma say? "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing all."

I'll start:
(1) President Obama broke the racial barrier. He earned an education, became a Senator and a lawyer and is now the President.
(2) He has given millions a hope that one day they can do something great, especially those from under privileged areas.

(3) He has largely supported the military until as of recently with the downsizing, which is inevitable in every decade, our leaders have to make cuts...we keep only the best and brightest, right?

(4) He is a very supportive husband and father, and we need strong father role models in today's society where fathers are as rare as a long term-marriage.

I believe he honestly wants good things for America...I don't necessarily agree with the way he is going about it.

(5) He authorized the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

I know there aren't many fans on RP, but if there is something you like, share it if you dare.

I like the fact he takes a stand against work place violence and the normal signs is a guy yelling "Allah Akbar" then guns down 12 people. Oops.

He has the ability to make large amounts of people believe and agree with him on almost anything. Other than that......

I can say that this is the second Democratic President I have served under. Although I am not particularly fond of the way things operate under a Democratic control I understand that I am not aware of all that goes on at that level.

I will say that President Obama has made things easier for Military Wives in that they can now be a resident of the state which the military member is. In my particular case this is rather crucial as my Wife is a Nurse. It is going to make transition easier when I finally retire.

There are definitely other things but that is one that sticks out at the moment.

Well! Our Commander-In-Chief is a very calm, cool, relaxed and a second thought person. He doesn't rush to judgement until the facts are presented. But sometimes he is too second guessing & too cautious on what action to take on certain emergency related issues which I think he need to be more active than just allow things to settle and that make America looks weaker in the eye of the world. But one thing I congratulate him for is the interest rate on Mortgages is at it lowest 2.50%, and Extreme Cheap Gas prices $4.70-$2.09 per gallon pretty cool--cheapest price in half a decade. Free 2 years college, and Ending both Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and getting rid of Osama Bin Laden. Give the President some credit guys and stop hating!!!

If you hold him accountable for the bad he gets credit for the good. As for OBL the book "The Finish" by Mark Bowden (a respected journalist with both experience and ties to the military community) He made the call against the recommendations of his political advisers. Their reasoning was that he would be attacked no matter what he did and that any action would be used against him (Taking credit for SEALs if the got him or making a bad call if they did not.)

Strangely the advisers were right. (see above)

Interest rates have nothing to do with the pResident. They are set by an arbitrarily low interest rate at the Federal Reserve who is keeping them low for political clout while printing money out of thin air. I would bet money they start contracting as soon as an R President gets elected creating an inflationary period which will be blamed on R's.

The Federal Reserve Act GAVE monetary policy control to an unelected, private board of bankers. The legislators who are supposed to be in charge of the purse have no say in anything except the debt ceiling which always seems to go up (hence $18+ Trillion in public debt) and why there is a push to Audit the Fed from the anti-Keynsian crowd.

Considering where the economy was headed when he took over, and how he has fought the terrorist enemies both foreign and domestic, I give him a thumbs up.

We were nine trillion in national debt when he took office. We will be 20 trillion in national debt when he leaves. All in eight years. That is a great deal more than all of our previous presidents combined. Now he wants to give 150 billion dollars to our worst enemies that is unaccountable. The same people who say "DEATH TO AMERICA". He hasn't fought our enemies, he has retreated and left the middle east in turmoil.

I served under Mr Obama for his first two years and that was enough for me. Taking away pay increases, sending his wife to visit bases, and his complete disconnect as the Commander in Chief.

Does it get any more blatant than this? Capt Jeff S. I see more dubious profiles on here than one can shake a stick at. That is one of the biggest red flags, when the hyperbole doesn't match the demographic.
