We have seen many things about our POTUS that many do not like about him, and while we have all had leaders we did not like, we could usually pick out a few things, or traits/characteristics you could use or emulate.
So, list the things you do like, keep it professional as always. What did momma say? "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing all."
I'll start:
(1) President Obama broke the racial barrier. He earned an education, became a Senator and a lawyer and is now the President.
(2) He has given millions a hope that one day they can do something great, especially those from under privileged areas.
(3) He has largely supported the military until as of recently with the downsizing, which is inevitable in every decade, our leaders have to make cuts...we keep only the best and brightest, right?
(4) He is a very supportive husband and father, and we need strong father role models in today's society where fathers are as rare as a long term-marriage.
I believe he honestly wants good things for America...I don't necessarily agree with the way he is going about it.
(5) He authorized the killing of Osama Bin Laden.
I know there aren't many fans on RP, but if there is something you like, share it if you dare.

He's a phenomenal role model of what not to do as president.

He only voted present when he was a senator. Locked his birth certificate and school records up so we didn' t know who he was. Never had a real job, conspired with a underground self admitted comunist bomber to run for president , on and on. Yes my mother told me if you can't say something nice, say nothing at all. But my father told me a snake was a snake and don't trust its next move. He hates the military, is a lousy President and is a true has destroyed the United States. He is also a true muslim, as he let slip in an interview, that corrected by the lib newscaster on television. To think that he is truely a commander in chief is just not living in reality.

I would agree if he had principles, but he sorely lacks any. My bad he was raised with communist principles that he holds firm.

What do I like about Obama? He is a fair golfer, and he is the first half black American President. Since you asked me what I liked about President Obama my post will be very short as I believe he is actively seeking to destroy our nation and does not share our American values. I would like to remove my vote on his golfing ability because he has become a better golfer while he should have been putting effort into being a better President!

I like that we have had our first black President. However, I can think of several black men and women I would rather was in his place. For me his positive attributes are in relatively unimportant areas such as: he dresses well, always has a good hair cut, he can read off a teleprompter and can give a rousing speech. As for his policies, opinions, appointments, numerous vacations, actions and in-actions as president....I refer back to the "If you have nothing nice to say, don't say nothing at all."

Oh yeah.... almost forgot: I really liked that whole Bowe Bergdahl swap for five terrorists. That was awesome too................. F'N NOT!!!!!!!! Sorry ya'll....but it still burns my a$$. Spent a month of my life lookin' for this f@ktard. Screwed up the legit missions and GOOD and REAL troops lost their lives.

I agree in that I think he's trying to do right by the country...Which I guess is all we can really ask of someone in that office. I don't really agree with most of his approaches but I'll always give him the same respect as I would President Bush. I like that he's trying to do something in Iran other than stomping his feet around and saying they can't have nuclear anything OR ELSE! I also like in his SOTU that he wanted to start more diplomatic interactions with Cuba. I am NOT particularly a fan of him getting involved in state courts with racial tensions i.e the Treyvon Martin situation in FL (The president has better things to do than involve himself with sensationalist trials with people already on edge about them).

I will agree that he has not been caught in a sex scandal or some other illegal activity that is obvious to the American public. I disagree with the strategy of you have to sacrifice some members of the military that sacrificed so much for their country. This was done to save money that was just spent in other areas of government spending. We are not balancing the deficit like we did in the 90s. We tripled our debt after reducing our military strength to pay for other programs and the many QEs. At the same time, I don't agree with the monetary or fiscal policy, but that is my opinion. I am a pragmatist, so I don't debate with my emotions on my sleeve. He did authorize the killing of Osama Bin Laden. I not sure if that really truly solves anything and did not seem to win the war on terrorism. I would say underneath his cool exterior he appears to have had a very stressful 6 years, due to graying and loss of hair. I think maybe he really does care, but has made some predictable but untimely and poor decisions.
