Thinking about jumping over to Army to do Warrant Officer Aviation. Has anyone done this and could offer some advice?

Hey SGT, I'm currently working on my WOFT packet. Go to the USAREC website (https://recruiting.army.mil/ISO/AWOR/) to start working on your packet and schedule a SIFT test at your education center. You can't schedule a flight physical without a passing SIFT score so get that done ASAP.

For the initial flight physical I don't think vision is waiverable but you could always get Lasik surgery.

We had several people who switched from another branch to the Army to go through flight school to become a Warrant Officer Helicopter Pilot. I was stationed with several of them at Ft Hood. They made it through with us and never regretted switching branches.
We even had an active duty Marine Captain who came TDY to our Cav unit as a Cobra Jock.
We also had an active duty foreign exchange Cobra Pilot from the UK.
My last unit was C Troop 4/9 Air Cav (Lift Platoon), 6th ACCB Air Cavalry Brigade.
