A small group of Chinese Navy ships showed up near Alaska earlier this week during President Obama’s visit to the northern state, mostly as a “we’re here” message. But then, as the Chinese People’s Liberation Army marched in a Beijing parade, someone simultaneously put out this completely nuts video of a naval attack on an American fleet, and on an American base that looks suspiciously like the one on the Japanese island of Okinawa.

Let's not panic here. It's easy to make a propaganda film showing yourself as the victor the reality is that Radar warning systems would notify us of their presence, they're disregarding the presence of our nuclear submarines, which would sink any Chinese invasion fleet, not only that but they would also have to face the might of the entire Pacific Command and there would be support from other countries as well.

Purely a muscle flex. An over zealous portrayal in situation that would not go down that way unless they were looking for an all out war. We could kiss planet good bye at that point this kind of provocation would end life as we know it.

I honestly think they do care. They are not North Korea, that would be the country I wold have more concern over.

What gets me is the video just shows the Chinese doing all the shooting, no retaliation. Sure we are just going to sit there, lol.

Sgt Richard Buckner - Sir, hopefully ( with the current administration I cannot be sure) we have learned a few lessons since then. I don't want a war with China, or Russia, I don't even want the war going on in the Middle east or war with any nation. I for sure do not want a war on American soil, waters, or air space. I don't want to have conflicts with Muslims period, but I can say whether the government is ready or not, my family and I are ready for what may and eventually will come. There is no doubt that we need to be cautious, wary, even borderline paranoid so to speak when dealing with matters of this nature. We don't need to think that because we have one of the finest Military in the world that we can just swagger around with confidence ; that we are invincible, because we are not. The Marines taught me the 7 P system : Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance. Our government may at times be overconfident, ignorant, and sometimes seemingly down right stupid, but that doesn't mean you and I have to be. I am prepared to do what I can with what I have. Hopefully every serious red blooded, freedom loving USA Citizen feels and is doing the same thing. What are you doing Sir?
