A while ago I asked about best places to retire. Some said you wouldn't think to foresake our country. In an avalanche of "what if" scenarios where the US becomes something other than what it's "supposed to be"and Chile adopted the US Constitution (pre-socialism) and the ideals that made this country great, would you remain committed to the North American land mass between Canada and Mexico?

I am loyal to my country and my flag, I would stay with my country, unless there was something that caused a terrible shift and made us into something such as North Korea. This is our home, and regardless of home broken we feel that it is, it is what we have. I think that the best part of this post, is knowing that because of the ideals of our nation, you are able to ask it. We are able to have this conversation without fear of reprimand.

Sorry, I think that this is a hard question to answer, because what is a country without the land mass and the ideals, they go hand in hand, while yes I voted that it is an ideal, I do not think that you could have the country of the United States of America, without the ideals that support the United States of America.
