I might not be able to watch the whole thing, with my advanced age and requirement for beauty sleep, but I feel this will be more of the same as the first, and the pose the Presidents showing will be me every time Trump or Bush open their mouths. I'm posting this as a joke, but am curious as to what everyone thinks will happen. Will Trump run the ball this time or watch as Carly passes for the win?

Same rhetoric, higher level of intensity, and most of if directed at Trump. It will be like a game of Hearts. Everyone will gang up on whoever is winning.

True Sir, but the quiet storm is Carson. I have a itch that's telling me he's going to have a bigger role in this debate than before (well if he gets to say hello, that's a bigger part in itself). Fiona will also have more of a chance to speak, but Cruz, Christy, Paul or those who were more involved before I don't think will be or are even going to be invited. I haven't researched the candidate list yet.

I think Carson's star will fade as the primary process progresses. I just don't see him as exciting the GOP voters. I think he'll be more like Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain. Once voters look a little more closely, they'll move in a different direction. I could be wrong, but that's what my spider senses are telling me. Most of the remaining players in the GOP race will be at the debate. I think there's like 15 or 16 scheduled to take part. A few of those with very low numbers didn't make the cut, and Rick Perry has already dropped out. Otherwise, Cruz, Christie, Paul, Kasich, Fiorina, Rubio, and everyone else will be there.

With 10 or 11 people on stage, there will be no depth in the answers and Trump will be the dominant personality. I think we need to start demanding he give policy not just great answers.

Sir with all due respect, for that answer, I'm going to have to ask you to execute a half left face, front leaning rest position move, in cadence exercise. For making sense you'll push until China has a real democratic government! lol

Tomorrow is the second Republican debate. Are we going to see something new or more of the same rhetoric?

Question on her would be Senior; can she parlay the energy from her first speech and make it stronger in this one? And how would she weather the attacks from the career politicians? Trump is going to say something stupid about her, and I KNOW CNN is going to ask Trump about his "look at her" statement.

A little of both for sure. I hope that more true issues come to the front of the discussions but I also know there will be some antics.

Sir, with the amount of people up there, I wonder are we really going to see the candidates talking from the "heart" ahem wallets, or are we going to spend two hours of life we won't get back listening to stump speeches?

SSG Warren Swan I hope we are both wrong, but I agree with you, we will see a lot of "rehearsed" answers akin to stump speeches.

Trump will be Trump. The only answers of substance will come from Rubio.

Sir, I'm going to give you a long maybe on him. If they use the strength of polling numbers in this debate, Rubio will have a fairly quiet night up there, whereas Carson and Fiona will have a field day with Trump.

Should be a fun little train wreck to watch - but I expect each candidate to keep spewing the same rhetoric that they have been without going into any detail. Rand Paul is the only one that I've seen release any detailed information on any plan he's proposed. Unless you consider Trumps plan to build a wall fairly detailed?

Sir, I expect the same, BUT Carson and Fiona are finally going to be able to talk on a major stage and get their voices heard. With that some of those in the first one I'd hope would be more quiet, and Trump will just talk and insult. Now if Trump actually came with solutions, I think all the air in the audience would be taken away. Folks would pass right out.

I hope you're right SSG Warren Swan, but with 10-11 candidates on stage - I doubt we'll get to hear any detailed plan of action on any key issue. It's still early in the election cycle and right now it seems to be more about "how bad can I make the other guy look" vs "Let's explore "key issue" in detail....". Dr. Carson is an interesting candidate, but I believe his repetitive mentioning of his Christian values will be his downfall - as it impacts his views on abortion, gun control and a few other key issues. In regards to Ms. Fiona, eventually her scrupulous ending at HP is bound to come up and I believe that will be her undoing. Trumps fading and will continue to do so, as he's a stumbling buffoon imo (I said he wasn't a real republican before it became the "trend" to do so). Who will ultimately be the front runner in 8-10 months from now, I'm not sure - but I'm sure the likes of the Koch brothers already know who that will be.

LTC (Join to see) - Sir 10-11 will make it interesting, but Carson's strength is his faith and that should carry him well in the bible states. Carson also has another plus going for him being that he rarely goes after another candidate; he tries to get his message out and stay away from the fracas the others are in. I think that many are tired of the constant attacks on everything. Fiona you hit the nail on the head with that, but it'd be interesting to see how she moves away from it.

Probably won't be a whole lot different from the first with the exception of Trump and Carson both likely getting far more spot light time since they are the two front runners. I am hoping Carson gets some more questions and can provide some decent answers so they he continues to gain and hopefully eventually passes Trump.

I can dig that, but my issue will be that Bush is seen as the royalty in the bunch, so I expect between him and Trump to be doing most of the talking. I also think Carly will get more mic time just because of the ruckus she's started since the first debate. I don't see much more than that.
