Who do I contact in regards to the purple heart awarded for the toxic pool at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait?

1. Prove it, that the award was authorized which I doubt. It might have been a recommendation, but don't think anything came from it. If you have/know someone who got the award, ask to see the orders, so you can see the issuing Command. Then ask that command who was authorized, Your unit may not have been authorized or didn't want to do it. I have seen BN/Bde commanders to refuse to authorize CIB's just because the unit was at JOTC/Canal Zone and saw lil fighting.
