This has been covered by both Cavuto and Huff Post. You have to agree he's passionate about the subject. We should all be as passionate. The video mentions a need for grass roots galvanization of military/vets to assist with getting things moving in the right direction.

Have you signed the petition?

Lt Col (Join to see) - It's really great to see someone so passionate about the VA Healthcare issues. This starts from the bottom up. It's on us to get out there and read up on the VA Surge petition. I highly recommend any service member or veteran take a look at this. I personally would love to see Montel Williams (USMC and USN Vet) discuss the VA Surge with us inside RallyPoint.
Col (Join to see), SFC A.M. Drake, SSG Scott Williams, SFC James Baber, MAJ Robert (Bob) Petrarca, SSG Robert Burns - I'm sure many of our most active members are aware of this surge. Do you have an opinion on it or recommend any ways for Montel Williams to garner this support?

Everything LTCDR Williams has to say is true. Why if this is so important do we need grass roots organizations to BEG our elected officials to put this into action. This is an automatic, no brainer. He hit it right on the head, there's no issue finding money to pay for the wars so why is there an issue taking care of those of us who have fought them? These DC buttholes keep adding to the number of veterans, through their own actions, so why through their own action can they not reciprocate?? Its pretty tragic, when illegal immigrants and immigration reform take top billing over veteran health care.

I have signed and posted the link on my FB page and if enough of us keep spreading the word, we'll get those signatures!

Look at the dates and the numbers here - this is even more disturbing!

That and the fact that after 25 minutes after hitting the validation link, my signature is still not registering!

After review I concur wholeheartedly with Montel is saying. This was a promise by Abraham Lincoln's administration to take care of those and the widows and kids. This is just amazing that it even has to come to this debauchery. Are not the wounded warriors worth more, and what of those service members still suffering in silence? I agree that this has become a national disgrace and epidemic. Montel raises a valid point by having all of the "social" services tackle this issue.

SFC Drake - great comment on using all the social media tools to address this. Exactly what we're going here. But I think we don't need to stop here. If we really believe in this cause, and "there but for the grace of God", then we should use all of our networks to get the word out...Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
