This made our local rag out here in the sticks. It bypasses the problem of dealing with base access. However Vets without base access essentially are boosting the revenue that supports MWR activities for ADs, Retired, etc.

Good call Kevin. The attached PX ad has the website address for veterans to qualify themselves to be eligible. They can qualify now and start shopping on Veterans Day. To get started go to VetVerify.org
It is very simple, I did it myself and the entire process took about 90 seconds.

Thanks for sharing, we shall try it out to see how good it is. Seems fair enough for those who don't live near an installation. CAPT Kevin B.

This is good news. At the very least it will give vets another online option. Jury still out on savings associated with Exchanges vs big box and online stores IMO. Locally it seems to just be saving on sales tax but I'm sure that varies by location. Still, as others have mentioned, Exchange sales help MWR services so anything that increases sales is good overall.

Correct. You have to have actual access to get alcohol and firearms which are typically better deals. Most everything else isn't. I hit the jackpot on a Ruger SR762 when they had 15% off sale and a Scratch and Sniff coupon I hit for 35%. Walked out with that bad boy for $600 something.
