Just as I have aforementioned here on RP I don't confirm to many of the traditional beliefs that most Christians adhere too. Now I digress.

This follow was caught on the Ashley Madison hack. He was a Christian Vlogger so I would tend to think he should have a good understanding how his faith system works. He had an account with the intent of going out of his way to meet women to have an affair while his wife just gave birth. Now what I don't understand he proclaims it wasn't his fault. Some how his flesh acted on it's own and did it. It wasn't him. But now that he told on his flesh he is good now.

My issue with this is that we all make mistakes to varying degrees. Some of use don't put the toilet seat down and some like this go pay to have an account to have an affair. But he did it. How can you blame something else. You should be blaming yourself. It is your flesh. You can't somehow be taken over by some other sinful entity and act on it against your will. It sounds like some sort of possession. This is what I don't understand. To me it is like a criminal that murdered someone saying "It wasn't me it was the rage. Now that I said the rage did it I should be free to go!" I don't think that is how it is supposed to work. It seems like a flawed system to me. He is talking is admitting his fault but is talking no responsibility for it. I am all about forgiveness and marriages should be something that we should fight for but they just seem a bit delusional to me. To him now he is cleansed. Maybe he should figure out if he really wants to be married. Something made him want to step out on his marriage.

CPT (Join to see) Regardless of change or appearance, to see and to know "this was", has always had a spot in my heart and mind as far back as I can remember... No, I would not be disappointed at all! My imagination wouldn't allow it! :)

MSgt Curtis Ellis - I was not in appointed in the the items or the places but more so in how they were portrayed. To me so many don't have a clue what that are talking about. It is say that some do this. It is not that they are doing on purpose but they just didn't question it and took it as face value. It is like going to buy a car that you never seen. They told you that it was great but when you got there the really wasn't what they said it was. It isn't the cars fault but the ones that were telling you about the car the ones at fault.

No, more like chase away. Especially when there are blatant "mote-beam" issues involved.

Maj Richard "Ernie" Rowlette - I actually follow your line of thinking, Sir, but considering this individual is making such a big deal to the world about being Christian, I found the post appropriate, as a real Christian would not have to tell or sell their faith to anyone; others would "know who they are" by their actions, (John 13:35) which makes this even more hilarious... Maybe it's just my attempt to have a spiritual sense of humor, but I didn't post this to admonish or point fingers at any one, group, or religion... I only posted it because I thought it was funny, and how, like radical Muslims and other radical religions, people use the religion itself to either justify or absolve them of just about anything, and the faith which the religion is supposed to be based on? It isn't even a major player! And again, maybe its just the way I see things... Thanks for your reply, and though I consider myself a Christian, I don't consider myself religious by any means, and to some, that would make me one of the biggest hypocrites! LOL!

It is a sin, and you are responsible. Plain and simple. Will the lord forgive you, or your wife, that is between you and the lord and your wife. CPT (Join to see)

I agree with that. I don't disagree with that part of it but I don't understand how you can say it was my flesh that did it as if it was not in your control?

COL Charles Williams - It really has more to do with how I don't confirm to these sets of belief. I used to but to me I woke up one day, some may call it enlightenment, and thought this isn't how it should work.

CPT (Join to see) - There is no way you could ever understand the mentality of any sexual predator... Yes, predator. He just found another avenue to appeal to his urges. The only understandable reason why this guy did what he did was because he never expected he would get caught, and like most predators, give him time and he will do it again... Just on another site... Human nature is kinda fickled that way...

Hypocrisy exists in every religion. He claims the title of Christian, but his actions speak for themselves. Just like all these shenanigans we are having with the Muslim community. They can throw their religion around and claim righteousness, but their actions speak volumes. I just wish the Muslim community would get off their butt with the negative press and do something about their own problems. We are responsible for our own actions. Sin is an action. The individual has free will to take action. That is like blaming those pigs at Ashley Madison for their adultery.

That is why I claim to be a man. So when I screw up I am not making anyone else look bad. :)

Think of church as a hospital for the sick. People go to church to heal spiritually.

Nobody is perfect, not even Christians. If you were to walk into a Christian church, I guarantee you will find that it is full of sinners, just like yourself.

If you aren't feeling very spiritual and you feel that your lack of spirituality is what's preventing you from going to church, the reason you're not going is the very reason you should go.

If you feel that there are too many hypocrites in church, just be aware that one more hypocrite really isn't going to matter. They aren't going to be any worse off with you there.
