4th Platoon D Co 2-5 IN 3/1 AD
Camera is on my gunner, firefight was around four hours long involving three enemy SAF sections, one RPG team (who we killed a month later), and an 82mm mortar team. The camera died about halfway through before it started getting really dicey, the Taliban only stoped engaging after we called in four A-10 gun runs on their positions in the green zones.

The MK19 is awesome! It amazes me how calm our Soldiers are... just another day at the office.
A combat support MP Co had/has 44 of them... and 44 M2 and 22 M240s... depending on what you preference and situation is.... The end state will be a mix... This is even better with CROWS... and safer for the gunner.
That said, I am not sure, however, what friggin rocket scientist thought the Mk19 alone was the right answer...
