All, if you are married, do you wear your wedding ring in uniform? If you do, what kind and what are your thoughts on why you chose that type.

Tungsten. I am naturally abusive to everything I own. I needed to get a rugged smartphone after joining the Army. I figured with tungsten, I will be able to have one that will survive ME. So far, so good.

The only time I take it off is for PT and when I'm out in the field or the range

Only on special occasions. I could never stand to feeling.  My wife of 26 years is the same way.

I did wear my ring, even while deployed. The problem was...my wife didn't.

Just a normal, plain gold band - on and off duty. I don't work around high voltage much and it's on my non-shooting hand.

I have a triple plain band that I had made to wear with the uniform and keep the "fancy" one at home for various reasons. The biggest reason being I don't want to lose it. Otherwise I wear my ring fulltime with little exceptions.

I actually would need to click on 2 of the answers. I wear a traditional gold band most of the time. HOWEVER, I also have a tattooed wedding ring that is under the gold band. For deployments/work duties that would place me at greater risk for de-gloving or theft, I remove the gold band and leave it with my wife. Each and every time I have done this, I have informed her that I EXPECT to receive it back at the end of the mission. It has worked for me every time!
