What actions should the US take against the Taliban for harboring Al Qaeda terrorists like Ayman al-Zawahiri?

Neither facts that the Taliban is currently harboring terrorists, and clearly lied when promised they would not do so, should be a shock to anyone. So what now? Do we keep playing whack-a-terrorist with drones forever? What other options do we have?

Weird operation to say the least. The company is supposed to be way in the background, to provide deniability to the US Guvment, so why the hell are they openly admitting the deed?

I don't think we are looking for deniability. In fact, it seems we let the Taliban and Al Qaeda know that even if we don't have boots on the ground we can reach out and touch them when we want.
